Consult GmbH focus on international forwarding companies and logistics providers

adi Consult GmbH has expanded into the United States. The newly formed US operation, adi Management Consult, Inc. has opened offices in Oceanside, New York and Escondido, California. adi will focus on international forwarding companies and logistics providers, emphasizing the areas of operational consulting, personnel placement, and mergers and acquisitions.
The company has a proven track record consulting for
international providers of integrated logistics services, such as land
transport, worldwide air and sea freight, and other businesses that support the
global exchange of goods.
"adi recognizes the growing need of its clients on both sides of the Atlantic
for expert advice and support," said Manfred Engst, President. "Many
transportation and logistics companies, as well as importers and exporters, are
experiencing a rapidly growing need for complete, competent, and industry
specific support and advise from external sources. We have tailored our approach
and product offering to meet this demand."
The Company’s leadership team includes Manfred Engst, president of adi, and
Helmut Berchtold, adi's executive vice president. The two have held top
executive management positions in various international companies and have
extensive background as consultants. "Our expertise covers everything from sales
of companies and management buy-outs to a deep understanding of the
transportation and logistics industry," said Berchtold. "We support our clients
with professional analysis and evaluations of market conditions and country
specific company structures."
In addition to a hands-on knowledge of the global logistics market, adi is
proficient in the areas of business analysis and strategic planning, validating
existing or creating new business plans, optimizing and streamlining
organizational structures, productivity and efficiency studies, as well as
executive searches. adi Management Consult conducts business around the world.
Its customers include US Freightways, Lufthansa Cargo and Schenker-Stinnes
Logistics.
The U.S. openings mark a major expansion of adi Consult GmbH, located in
Germany. adi Consult GmbH and adi Management Consult, Inc. will each hold shares
in their respective organizations. The company plans to launch a Singapore
branch later this year.
